Carpet Bombing --Ari ben Or's presentation

The impulse to "outrage" turns naturally on the point ben Or quotes himself on, viz., "...or any people." The Muslims can also say they are going to carpet bomb Israel or the U.S. or Europe etc., until "they stop." This is the obvious response in the absence of truth. But it is unstated in ben Or. This is why he also says there is no possible hope that Israel will do now in Gaza what it has not been able to do anywhere else or at any other time since 1948. In sum the so-called "visible Reciprocal" that Science Certainty -Open-Society Uncertainty rules.

And the implication in this is Western peoples are doomed. They will not stop. The Muslims will take over as they are doing now in Europe, and in the U.S. by means of the convergent complicity of the political classes and the Elites; or they will in fact carpet bomb --or simply bomb-- Western peoples. As for them, they will not ante up until "they stop." It 's this possibility and fear that drives the "outrage." And it sustains the notion that truth and falsity in all but science is bad. I speak of a sociology of the Redirection. At the end of the day, the argument is the substitution required in the Redirection for political order as such, this substitution being economic order as political order or what substitutes for a people, will terminate the Redirection. If, then, the Western states are not peoples in concept or composition, this outcome might as plausibly be embraced by men who recognize in the Redirection what it is. Moreover, recognizing what the Redirection is, namely death in its several meanings and above all in the meaning that the Redirection is the Fall from Being (i.e., Death as Telos), what is wrong with this outcome? Not least because it is evidently inevitable.
