Wicked Fools and Scholars --the "problem" of Palestinians-Israel solved

Yesterday the Institute received one of many and on-going solutions to “problems” based upon the principle of treason or what is rooted in the Redirection  --what the Best Men, those to whom Jacob Klein ministers as the Descartes Superior, call (as an historical judgment) the Enlightenment. This is what the Progressive Intellectuals call it. Still the Best Men are not fools. Of this Enlightenment Kennington writes: “…the advancement of science, Enlightenment [,] implies ‘open societies; linked with each other in the common enterprise of the ‘mastery of nature.’ It is antithetical to any societies, or elements in a society, that seek the autonomous cultivation and preservation of their own morality and way of life. Thus Enlightenment is by intention a universal politics, potentially of global magnitude, and the first of philosophic origin.”

It is this universal politics of global intent the Progressive Intellectuals actualize. The existence of “any societies” is their “problem.” The individual who contacted us (and a large list of others) wants to solve the “problem” of the “Palestinian-Israel conflict.” As for the “philosophic origin” particularly, Kojeve-Hegel has mastered it. Kojeve is for this reason justly known to be the Superior to these same Progressive Intellectuals. He is a philosophic man of his times.

But the philosophic man of our times is master of the philosophic origin of philosophy in our times. The philosophic origin is intended to be the “ruin of philosophy”, this being the sober judgment of A. N. Whitehead (and some others). As a practical matter this refers to the pure atheism of Hegel and to the Mind (or “metaphysical matter” of Descartes --what drives his mathematical physics according to a reversible conception of calculation for magnitude and multitude, his “geometry” untranslatable to Speech because it is symbol, not image) reconceived the terms of the philosophic. History, which is to say Time or motion (actually movement), is what now we mean by the transcendent realm. Time as fitted to the affairs of men, but also to the order of the heavenly bodies (by Kepler, Galileo, and again the ultimate “enlightener” or Founder of the Redirection who is Descartes) imposed an historical ontology and being on men and on nature as the symbolic mathematization of all existence. This is what the Descartes Superior to the Best Men correctly (although cross-mindedly for he is an ardently scientific man) calls irrationalism.  Indeed he calls it our irrationalism. Our times irrationalism.

The effect upon the ultimate source of this, the transformation or “ruin”, that is, the effect on human reason was the fitting of it to this ruin. (This fitting is what History really is, namely it is our ontological content. Irrational reason is also what assures that science “works”. Indeed science is what we mean by reason. It is the “bar of reason.”) It is this re-fitting of reason within its own created and intended environment –global or universal politics –that is most revealing here. Making no direct consideration of the larger and more important aspects of our conception of reason and its self-creation of a fitted notion of the transcendent realm, it must be obvious that our “universal politics, potentially of global magnitude, and the first of philosophic origin…[,]”  is an effect of this origin. In fact the distinction between the Progressive Intellectuals and the Best Men in showing what divides the Progressive Intellectuals and the Best Men is what “the first…universal politics, potentially of global magnitude…[reveals about its] philosophic origin….”

And so what is this distinction? The distinction between the Progressive Intellectuals and the Best Men is mainly between wicked fools and historical scholars.  Although wicked fools must be more wicked than historical scholars, it is the latter who choose to leave philosophic clarification to the Superior of the Progressive Intellectuals, nurturing Kojeve, and encouraging the World State basis in philosophy, at the same time they, the Best Men, will not consider it. Instead they say: “We have for some time to become students of what is called the ‘history of ideas’.” The Best Men leave historical clarification of mathematics to the Superior of the Best Men.  But mathematics, even considered as an historical subject, like the Enlightenment itself, is said by Klein, as I have already told you, to be our “irrationalism.” Mathematics is a philosophic field and purpose because it is mathematical physics. It solves for “the unknown.” Descartes did this; and said he would: Certainty.

Now what I understand myself to have explained in this brief resume is the “ongoing problems” that occupy the wicked fools, and the particular fool who occupied us –and his long list, as I mentioned. This following response, appearing at SANE this morning, is what we think the Best Men would say were they not constrained “to become students of what is called the ‘history of ideas’.” I copy it here for IASPS readers, effectively unedited as it is perfect.

“…this [the particular incident, whatever it is in the  “Palestinian-Israel conflict”] has nothing to do with tribal or even sectarian blood feuds. This is just political cannibalism at its ugliest. And the Jimmy Carter types talk about establishing a Palestinian nation? The only humane solution to the problem is to transfer all of the Palestinians to Damascus or Tehran. These guys will restore order.

“First they will set the Palestinians up in well acquainted refugee camps; then Israel can build border walls along the Lebanonese, Syrian, Jordanian and Egyptian borders and say good bye and good riddance .

“Cross border violence and rocket attacks will be met with ZERO troops. [Meaning Israeli soldiers will not be sacrificed for peace, or treason.] Just level their major urban areas and go after military and civilian infrastructure with aerial bombardment. If that doesn't do the trick, publish the name of a village that will be eliminated for each cross border attack. And, then proceed to eliminate village by village.

“In addition, the US should renounce all US aid to Israel. [Meaning, per the Institute’s “Clean Break” which called for this step as part of an Israeli “regime change” in Iraq; i.e., not for any democracy building in that country ---or for any U.S. role at all.] That ought to please the Israel-bashers.[Meaning such Israeli action would constitute "regime change" in Israel, replacing Sharon-Peres leaders seeking US aid with men who would understand this discovery there is in fact a "military" solution to the "Palestinian Israel" conflict after all.]

“There, we've solved the Palestinian-Israel conflict, united the Israeli lovers and bashers, empowered Syria and Iran to be the saviors of the Palestinians, and we haven't even broken a sweat.”
